At West Coast Speech Pathology, we strive to provide effective and efficient assessment and treatment services so that your child can reach their true potential.

Your child is important to us. To maximize the benefits of each therapy session, we prefer you to sit in and watch so we can provide useful tips and strategies, as well as creative ways to incorporate therapy into the family’s daily routine.

We provide a comfortable, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere for both our assessment and therapy services.

At West Coast Speech Pathology, we place a high level of importance on keeping our knowledge base and skills up to date. We attend numerous professional development events each year in order to ensure we are implementing evidence-based assessment and intervention approaches.

* PROMPT is a tactile-kinesthetic approach that uses touch cues on your child’s jaw, tongue, or lips to manually manipulate and guide them to produce the correct sounds, phrase or sentence. This approach is excellent for children with dyspraxia, jaw sliding, inadequate lip rounding, as well as for those children who have difficulties isolating the movements required for each speech sound. It assists in establishing correct motor movements and oral muscular control.
